Center back Kim Min-jae (Bayern Munich), a key part of Klinsmann’s defense, said he needed time to get up to speed with the players, saying, “The players have changed a lot since I didn’t play with them in the A match in June.”

“It’s been a long time since we’ve been away from home in Europe, but I think it’s good that we didn’t concede in a tricky game,” Kim Min-jae told reporters in the joint press area. “We should have shown a good performance when we needed a win, but I’m disappointed that we didn’t get it,” he said.
He vowed to “make sure we win the next game,” but said he didn’t feel any pressure to win.
“I think we can win if we accept the coach’s requirements and show them on the field,” said Kim Min-jae. “The players are working hard, but they don’t seem to have any pressure to win.”
“We played together in the A match in March, but I missed it in June (due to military training),” he said. “There have been a lot of changes in the team, and I think we need time to adjust.”
Kim Seung-gyu, where to?

“I’m not happy with the result, but I’m happy with the defensive part of the game because we kept a clean sheet as we prepared,” said goalkeeper Kim Seung Kyu (Al-Shabaab), who saved a shot from Nathan Broadhead (Ipswich Town) early in the match.
“They had fast players on the flanks and a lot of physical players in the center of the pitch, and they used those players to their advantage,” he said, referring to the opposition’s performance. “We talked to our defense before the game, and Coach Chaduri prepared us through videos,” he added, explaining his preparation.
“As a national team player, I feel responsible for the fact that we haven’t won recently, not since Klinsmann took over,” Kim said.
“There are so many good strikers in the Saudi Arabian league that it’s sometimes difficult for the goalkeeper, but it’s a good experience,” he said.
“Even though they are our opponents, I am often surprised by their play. I’m learning a lot from watching them play hard.”

“As a striker, I should have shot and created chances, but I didn’t play to my strengths in front of goal,” said Cho Kyu-sung (Mitwylan), who played up front alongside Son Heung-min (Tottenham).
“The central defense in the Danish league is definitely slow-legged, but the players who play in the English Premier League (EPL) are physically strong and fast,” he said, comparing the Danish and English leagues.
“It made me realize once again that players like Son Heung-min and Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton) who play in the big leagues are really great,” he said, adding, “I think I need to work hard in the future.”
