“Mbappe → SON” Real’s “Surprise recruitment of Son Heung-min,” which was reported on Chuseok

Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing up Tottenham captain Son Heung-min.

Real Madrid are looking to bolster their attacking lineup and are considering a move for Son Heung-min. Spanish outlet Pichajes reported on Sept. 29 (KST) that Real Madrid are closely monitoring Son’s progress and have already expressed interest in signing him. A series of media outlets, including CourtOffside, also reported that “Real Madrid are planning a surprise move for Tottenham star Son Heung-min”. Real Madrid have reportedly lost confidence in their chances of signing Kylian Mbappe next summer after rumors surfaced that he is considering extending his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

Son, who earns £190,000 a week, is under contract with Tottenham until the summer of 2025. It remains to be seen, of course, whether Real Madrid will actually make a move for him after the season. The outlet writes that it would be ideal to invest in a younger striker full of promise, as the 1992-born South Korean is 31 years old and unlikely to get any better than he is now over time, but there’s no doubt that Son is capable of being a world-class player at this point in his career, and he’s been dazzling since joining Tottenham.레고토토

Son has scored five goals in seven appearances across all competitions this season. It is extremely unlikely that Tottenham, who sold Harry Kane to Bayern Munich just before the start of the season, will sell their captain during the season. However, a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid would be a tempting proposition for any player in the world. It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid can convince the ‘Tottenham man’ to stay.

With rumors of a contract extension swirling around the club, it remains to be seen what the 31-year-old will choose to do.

Meanwhile, Son’s Tottenham, who are aiming to return to the European Champions League, will face Liverpool in the seventh round of the English Premier League at 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 1 at Anfield. Spurs are fourth in the league with four wins, two draws and no defeats in six games, including a 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the North London derby thanks to a multi-goal performance from Son.
