Harry Kane’s (Bayern Munich) secret bonus clause has been revealed.
Kane was one of the hottest players last summer. With only one year left on his contract at Tottenham, Kane was considering his future and Munich entered the race for his signature. Spurs were initially adamant that they wouldn’t let him go, but eventually sold him for £140 million.

He also scored four goals in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) and found the back of the net 21 times in all competitions.
Last season, the Bundesliga’s top scorer was Niklas Fühlkrug (Werder Bremen). Fulkru finished first with 16 goals, but Kane has already surpassed last season’s top scorer with 17 goals.
“Seventeen goals is amazing. It feels good to get off to a good start. It’s a credit to my teammates. They give me a lot of chances. All my teammates deserve to be congratulated.”
Kane will now challenge Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona) for the most goals in a single season in the Bundesliga. Lewandowski scored 41 league goals for Munich in 2020-21. With nearly 20 goals already, the odds are in favor of Kane breaking Lewandowski’s record.
In the meantime, The Sun revealed Kane’s secret bonus clause. Kane could earn a £220,000 bonus if he scores 40 goals.
That’s not a lot of money, given the symbolism of 40 goals and Kane’s performance. “Kane earns £400,000 a week in wages at Munich. The bonus is very small compared to his weekly wage.”
